Venue
Since EconCeleb will be covering the business of celebrity and entertainment online content, what better place to hold the conference than in the heart of Hollywood, at The Roosevelt Hotel? Built in 1927, the Roosevelt has been the playground of luminaries including Clark Gable and Marilyn Monroe, and even the birthplace of the Academy Awards before its rebirth following Dodd Mitchell’s 2005 renovation. The facility offers two restaurants, a classic steakhouse run by renowned chef Tim Goodell and the other, the stylish yet subdued 25 Degrees, located just off the Hollywood Boulevard entrance and around the corner from Grauman’s Chinese Theater. Other hangouts at the hotel include Mitchell’s seductive Teddy’s Lounge, a dimly lit bar reminiscent of the days of old Hollywood glamour, and the Tropicana, an oasis by day and a sultry lounge by night, which surrounds the hotel’s historic Davic Hockney pool.
